Heriot’s Rugby Club
Heriot’s Rugby Club play in the BT Premiership and our rugby policy is to play exciting running rugby, while developing the best young players so that they have the opportunity to progress to the highest level of their potential in the game.
Rugby is the centre of our club, however the social side of the club is just as important with an opportunity to enjoy meeting old friends and make new ones. The rugby community is rightly the envy of all other sports, and we are pleased that we have many ways of fostering that through our hospitality in the clubhouse, both before and after the game.
We would be delighted to see you to Goldenacre and new playing and non-playing members are as always, most welcome.

CLUB DINNER – SATURDAY 9TH MAY
The date of the Rugby Club Annual Dinner has been changed to Saturday 9th May 2015. This event will take place at the stunning Prestonfield House and is open to members and guests (including ladies) and is one of the highlights of the Club’s social calendar.
This year’s dinner is particularly special as the Club is celebrating its 125th anniversary and we are hoping to that it will provide an opportunity for a reunion of players of all ages! Your support in spreading the word would be appreciated.
This year we are delighted to welcome Doddie Weir as our MC with Sean Lineen as keynote speaker, and George McNeill will be providing some light entertainment. There will also be the usual award presentations and an auction & raffle to raise funds for the club.
