Heriot’s v Ayr
“Fair fa’ yer honest, sonsie face, an aw that “– as oor Rabbie once said.
It seems only fitting that we should be hosting Ayr on Saturday and with Ayr flying high in the league and Heriot’s looking to establish themselves in the top 4 this game has all the elements to be a real cracker.
With the weather last week causing further delays in fixtures all the players are now rested and fully fit including a welcome return for Fraser Brown who returns from a two month layoff.
With large numbers at training this week Phil and Stevie have a full squad from which to select – watch this space for team details.
As always your support is most appreciated so come along to Goldenacre on Saturday – 2.00pm kick off.
It is only a month until Fill the Stand Day on 23rd February and as we require 1400+ spectators it’s time to block the day off on the calendar, look out the old Heriot’s scarf and re-learn the words to “While Gratitude Fills every Breast….”
With Scotland playing Ireland on Sunday 24th we’ve also extended invitations to our Irish friends to join us and there will be plugs on various radio stations.
We’ll have top Premiership rugby in the shape of Heriot’s v Boroughmuir, beer tents, international rugby on the big screens, , entertainment for the kids, food outlets, pre-match mini rugby, pipe band, singers and possibly even cheer leaders and a whole lot more so there’s no excuse for not coming along.
Look forward to seeing you at Goldenacre
