Events Calendar

The Rugby Club Annual Dinner will take place on Friday 17th May 2013 at Prestonfield House. This event is open to members and guests and is one of the highlights of the Club’s social calendar.

We have a fantastic line up this year and our keynote speaker is former Scotland International, British Lion, & member of the victorious Grand Slam squad of 1984 ,
John Rutherford .

He’s being joined by fellow internationalist & well known broadcaster, John Beattie , who will be our MC & compere.  During the evening, John will also be interviewing Iain Milne, Kenny Milne & Ken Scotland offering a unique insight on ’Life with the Lions’.

Plus Edinburgh lawyer and renowned after-dinner speaker, Willie Hunter will be providing some light entertainment and has kindly agreed to be our auctioneer at the dinner.

One of the highlights of the evening will be the presentation of the player awards for the season and we have a fantastic auction & raffle to raise much-needed funds for the club.

The dress code for the evening is black tie and the evening will commence with a Champagne reception at 7.00pm, before we enjoy an exquisite 3-course dinner. Carriages at 1.00am.
