The 1st XV were made to work hard for the bonus point win against Boroughmuir which guarantees a coveted top 4 play off spot. Whether we finish second , third or fourth will be determined on the final day of the season so there is still a lot to play for.
The Blues sealed a comfortable win, also against Boroughmuir, bizarrely requiring 1 bonus point for the league title which will be gained when we take to the pitch on Saturday 2 March at Hawick. Heriot’s Ladies graced the hallowed Goldenacre turf for the first time on Sunday in a warm up game against Hillhead Jordanhill. The ladies cup campaign starts on Sunday 3 March against Kelso at 14:00 and we will keep you posted.
With the 6 Nations starting this week all at a Goldenacre wish the Scotland representative teams well, especially the Heriot’s players taking part in the Club XV games against Ireland – at Myreside on Friday, kick off 19:30 – well worth the nose bleed to get to the other side of town.
