Some of George Heriot’s finest young talent enjoyed a training session with our very own, Stuart Edwards (Eddo), last week. The fly half joined the 5th and 6th year teams, who are just back from touring South Africa, for a training session to help the young players hone their skills and give them some expert tips. The training focussed on some of the core rugby skills including passing, catching, evasion, tackle technique and tactical development.
Neil Meikle, Heriot’s Director of Rugby, says “It is important for the players to show the next generation what they can expect from the rugby pitch and the effort it takes to play at a high level. Eddo is an excellent ambassador for the club and it really has encouraged the school boys going into preseason.”
