In a fitting end to the most successful season in the club’s history Heriot’s have been awarded the trophy for World Rugby Club of the Season.
This is recognition for the work and effort that has gone in over the entire season starting with the BT Charity Shield win over Boroughmuir in August and finishing with the BT Premiership win over Ayr in April.
The boys are now on a well earned break, hopefully relaxing and soaking up some rays before the hard work starts again. Back to back titles was a phenomenal achievement and we will have a number of new players challenging for 1st XV places come pre-season training so there will be no room for complacency.
With an away trip to Myreside and Watsonians first up there is plenty to get excited about for season 2016/17.
Have a great summer!
